Interview with Heather Barker

     When asked what she likes the most about being a high school journalist, Heather Barker said, "I like how it gets me out of the classroom talking with people. Also, I learn more life lessons opposed to what I learn from regular classroom curriculum."
     Besides being a just staff writer for her school's paper, The Medieval Times. Heather also takes photographs for the paper, as well as getting the promotion of being editor-in-chief next school year.
     Heather is currently attending Marshall's Journalism Workshop, and is hoping to learn some new things to take back to the staff of The Medieval Times in the fall.
     When asked about her other interests besides journalism Heather says she enjoys playing soccer, and jokingly she added, "eating and sleeping."
